Affiliations

Spoiled Life is NOT affiliated with Young Living.  Spoiled Life website, research, and services are independent and available to anyone; and you are encouraged to share our tools and resources.

After tremendous research and trials I have chosen Young Living to provide my supplements, essential oils, and personal care products because of their consistent testing, transparency, and seed to seal quality.  In the last couple of years I have decided to recommend and be a distributor. They are one tool in the box for healthy living.

Referals and Referral Codes

I will always ask for referrals, and will never take a friend or family enrollment from another distributor. Contact us for your own referral code so that I know who you are sending my way, and can say thank you!

Background

About my Research

At the bottom of each blog I often post a few links to get you started on your own research. I have a few sources I use regularly. I start with Google Scholar, Pub Med, and Medline. I look for studies with at least 100 participants (if using people) and solid scientific techniques. I read to see their bias and their errors. (I obviously do not pay any attention to studies funded by parties with financial interest- when disclosed) I love primary sources but they are hard to find. I will always source the CDC and EPA in these types of topics as well. I will note that via the hospital I have subscriptions that allow me to access medical journals that are not available otherwise. I will try to link the articles that are accessible to the public via nih or nib. I will also try to explain the basic physiology and chemistry when applicable!

As mentioned the information and direction provided within this hub is research based, evidence guided, and experience tested.
